Kaspersky crashing?

This afternoon kaspersky did its usual update attempt, except ever since then it keeps crashing...is anyone else having these probs (dodgy update?) or any suggestions as to whats wrong?

same here...
Did a reinstall, was fine untill it re-updated.. Hopfully they will fix this soon, I thought it was only me with the problem!

Me too! I have Kaspersky running on 3 pc's same problem on all, it will run for a few minutes then close with a warning, the updater appears to be the problem, windows error report mentions an applet Updater.ppl.

housemate's has done the same, just disabled updates on mine until i hear it's fixed

yep had the same problem with mine too this afternoon...dodgey update i guess! Just tried to update it agian and its still happening.

edit: just tried above solution from kaspersky forums and its sorted....many thanks!!!

Yup just happened to me. Im using the trial version atm and will be going for the full version. Will follow the link provided above to hopefully solve problem.

p.s. all working ok now. Thanks for the link chaps.
