iv been using the anti virus kaspersky for 2 years now and in the last cople of months it has came up with over ten false poisitves one being my isp. does any one else have this problem with kaspersky?

Have you downloaded the very latest update from their website? I have noticed a few false positives popping up from time to time but nothing major. Grab the latest version for staters and if you still have the same problem then I would raise a ticket with their Tech support team to make them aware of what's happening.

Kaspersky Latest Version

I've only had one false positive which was notepad++ 5.8.4. As mentioned download the latest version.

Do keep in mind that some installers/setups do behave as a Trojan, so you may need to pause Proactive Defense when installing something.

iv only had the false positives since i upgraded.

You could roll back to the 2010 version if you wanted? I don't see that much difference in terms of protection tbh. They have tweaked the scanning engine and this is where the false positives are coming from I would say..

i could but i have seen a large increase in the speed of the scans

Really? I found it's getting slower and slower with each release (I've been using it since 2009). In fact im going to stick on Avast Free come February when my licence expires, and I never thought I would use anything but Kaspersky AV :(
