Kaspersky upgrade problem

Hey guys,

I recently got the Asus Rampage II extreme mobo and with it came kaspersky anti virus 7.0 which i thought would be great.

However it turns out that this version is not compatable with windows7? I'm using windows 7 pro 64 bit and installed the anti virus. The software works but the file anti virus and protective defense features fail to enable.

I did some searching about and figured that I might have to upgrade it to a newer version and transfer my Key but the newer version won't accept my key even though the key works fine on the 7.0 version and so im left with an older version which is'nt fully enabled.

Has anyone got any ideas how i can upgrade it or had the same problem and resolved it?

Thanks in advance.

Thanks Greenlizard0,

Hmm nope im not with Barclays.

Anyone else got some ideas coz this would be really nice if i got it sorted out plus the activation has started so my days are ticking away lol.

Thats the version i have installed mate. I think i need 2010 version which is the newest i think yet does'nt accept my code :(

Sounds good hikari, by contact them do you think an e-mail or something will do or am i going to have to phone them?

Il give that a try anyway and if i still cant get it working il just use MSE.

Thanks for the advice.
