Katana V2 vs V2X

Anyone had any experience with a Katana soundbar? Or has any views on any noticeable difference between the two (V2 / V2X).

I've got the V2 and find it to be absolutely superb for gaming and watching content.
It sits nicely under the monitor with the sub under the desk.

Yeah struggling atm on what to go for, my corsair sp2500 just went kaput. Never had a soundbar or used one so dont' know what to expect. You used it in FPS games? Easy to hear direction of footsteps / shots?

I'm more of a casual gamer than competitive, but when playing sniper elite, cold war etc, everything sounds like where its coming from, and boy does it go loud if you want it to (the bass is crazy!)
Theres a bunch of reviews on Youtube for the V2 and other soundbars, which I spent a while watching before I bought one.
I've got a much more expensive soundbar for the TV and the V2 blows it out of the water, and some.

v2x has arrived just waiting for my oak shelf now then will set it up with my lg c2.. cant wait to play God of War Ragnarok with it..

is it best to hdmi arc to ps5 and optical for tv?

Don't think it matters too much, considering on the V2X both can decode Dolby Digital (5.1) audio source.

But personally I'd use optical as it would avoid potential complication working with TV with HDMI settings etc, and also Optical would generally maintain better signal quality over distance comparing to HDMI cable say at over 3-5M due to it use light for transmitting.

My Katana V2 fan has become intolerably loud, so I contacted Creative and they couldn't have been more helpful with the RMA.
It's annoying that it's happened, but they are owning the problem.
