Hi. These where taken at a kayaking lesson last night. I intend to send them to the person that organises the lessons to use as promotional material if they wish. Do you feel that these three are good enough? I will be giving these away for free so where do I stand as regards copyright?

Any tips and hints as how to deal with this in a professional manner is welcomed and is appreciated.

Thanks

I think that's a good combo of shots. No.1 shows general learning nicely, 2 is an ace fun shot, and 3 shows some cracking motion, really lovely.

As for copyright, you still retain it. You can tell them what they can // can't do with your shots - it's no different to being paid for them.

As you aren't looking for money though (and there's nothing wrong with that) - I would try to push for direct credit underneath the shots.

Cool thanks for the info mate. The third image has had a slight helping hand in PS C2. It wasn't as blurred as I wanted it.

Just as a matter of interest is this some form of charitable thing or do they charge for the kayak lessons? If they do why are you giving your work to them for free?

Its lessons from what I'm aware. I'm offering these three images free to try and get my name out. I'm sending him a covering email saying that I would be wiling to work out a price for pictures in the future and different lessons.
