You should be able to activate your Win 7 using MS's automated phone service if necessary. Not sure about Office though.

Think win7 should be, but think I could have problems with office.
I could'nt go without office,, so at worst I would have to buy another copy, not that I want to.

This in mind I think I might put up with it for a while although it will annoy me knowing things are not right lol

Had been tempted with a 4790K (board & chip upgrade) but not sure i'd see much difference in performance,
if I did upgrade maybe better doing a fresh install then. but as i say im not even sure if that would be worth it.

Could really do with a bigger/ better monitor,
