so i keep getting disk check for consistentcy when i boot up my computer from cold and from restarting it.

surely theres a way to turn it off, cus i rememerbed a time it did this (old machine) and you can uncheck it so it doesnt check on every boot up and restart.

anyone know why its doing it (my harddrives are fine and i havent changed anything as far as im concerned) and how do i stop it from doing it again?

hitting keyboard doesnt always skip it, cus it sometimes the keyboard doesnt boot up at that stage (on usb). its getting a bit annoying now, got to wait for ages to check it everytime.

thanks for the help!

what i did was typed in Run > chkdsk /x <c> <g> to disable it. but i dont want it to be permantly disabled but come up at the right time to check like normal.
