I've also just got the 80 version,going to take it apart to disconnect the led's.

lol. LED's don't bother me. It would be good if they made it with a switch to turn on or off.

Got my two today. Must say the wires look to be rather on the short side. Anyone know if you can get an extension cable? At work at the mo so cant test.

yes you can get extensions for them,ill be using mine with my fan controller so i wont have a problem
