Keeping a chinchilla - guidance required

I have a friend whose daughter is fed up with her two grey chins so they may be up for sale. Apparently they are very well looked after and are about 5 years of age. Both boys.

Would they be ok to change owners or are they likely to be a problem. I know people say about letting the animals get used to them so I'm worried a move would stress them out. I want happy chins!

Any thoughts please?
 
That's good news, thank you! I'm told they both love cuddles and to be made a fuss of which is exactly what I am after. Was just a bit concerned they wouldn't take to new people.
