Hey guys,

I booted up my PC around 10 minutes ago, and unfortunatly the boot problem still persists..

Wont let me access the "Start" menu via keyboard and then Spotify plays up and is unusable, the solution is to restart straigh away and then boots into W10 and all is good.

What I want to know is, can I leave my PC in Sleep mode all the time (even overnight)?

As it awakes from sleep fine, the only thing im unsure about though is that, when sleeping the whole PC goes down, apart from the Corsair RGB RAM im using, the, RGB on this stays on, the only indication that the PC is not turned off (apart from the power LED changing to blink to let you know also).

So is that still OK, or am I better to shut down at night?

Thanks for reading!

Leaving the PC is sleep mode is fine.

Thanks Quartz, one quick question, when I put the PC to sleep, everything turns off, PC, keybaord, mosue, mic etc..the only thing thats indicates on sleep is (obviously) the "sleep" LED indicator, and the Corsair RAM sticks, the RGB stays on..

Could that be a problem, or does that not matter?

Cheers.

I'm sorry, but I have no experience with RGB. If the PC comes back on when you move the mouse or tap a key then it's good.

Yeah, its set to not respond to keyboard / mouse, but when I press the power button when sleeping, it wakes right up.

I use sleep all the time and have done for many years. If you got a lot of ram e.g 8gb or more sleep is advised since it keeps the ram cache active so all apps that are in cache load up real quick. Only time i reboot is for updates

Awesome, will start sleeping the PC now then, I have 32gb RAM also, so that helps i suppose..

Cheers guys!

Can someone tell me any setting to check / enable to avoid W10 waking up itself for updates, or whatever other reasons it might..

Cheers.
