Keeping up with the Markles

Fine for a triple-continental shopping trip while nearly eight months up the duff with their first though!
What’s the relevance?
That was before she miscarried no?

I would imagine/hope someone who ha miscarried a child and is now carrying another would be more cautious and have doctors advising her the same sentiments.

Are we just being obtuse in here for the sake of it

Oh, yes, You're right. I didn't know that. I suppose it would make her more cautious.

Pleased about this, he should be allowed to disbelieve her if he so wishes without everyone being offended by it.

He should be allowed to disbelieve her and people should be allowed to be as offended as they like by it. This is what free speech fundamentally is. Person X can say what they like within reason and person Y can be as offended as they like and both person X and Y can go about their day.

The current idea that someone being offended is evidence of A) offence being intended B) Something that should be stopped is just ******* stupid. There are far too many people who are professionals in being offended and listening to the wettest members of society does no one any good.

The opinion of some American sitcom actress is not something i would give ear time or credulity to in the first place, but good to see OFCOM coming up with a sensible decision, in fact any kind of decision at all ;)

And yet influencers, celebrities and a whole host of other vacuous entities have huge sway over hundreds of millions of people world wide. Its pathetic and its dangerous but thats what happens when people place more weight on their opinion than that of scientists and people who actually know what the **** they are talking about. Welcome to modern society.

ITV has been cleared by media regulator Ofcom, which has rejected a record 58,000 complaints about Piers Morgan's criticism of the Duchess of Sussex.

Brilliant, I love Piers and GMB hasn't been the same.
I bet his colleague who rubbed him up the wrong way is fuming.

And yet Ofcom said they would have ruled against Piers if he hadn't been challenged by his colleague Chris Ship live on air with brought balance to the subject.

So yes Piers went too far and would have been done if he had been allowed to do his normal unchallenged rant.

When did they say that?

AFAIK they’ve just voiced concerns re suicide and noted they’d be seriously concerned if not challenged re that.

They’ve been pretty clear about his right to air his views whereby he doubted the truthfulness of what Megan said, no conditional there.

It says this in the article:
Ofcom "would have been seriously concerned" if he had not been challenged by co-hosts Susanna Reid and Chris Ship, which provided "adequate protection for viewers", it added.

Edit: oh you edited your post :D

I'm not a fan of Piers, but I agree. Free speech and common sense prevails!

What I still don't like though is that Piers has already resigned, but on principle he didn't need to resign, and Good Morning Britain won't take him back now. The whole Harry/Meghan thing has been a **** show for this country.

The reaction to Ofcom's awful ruling on this matter in the last few posts is yet more evidence that this forum is more right wing and bigoted than ever.

Mods must condemn.

Something has gone wrong, my post has been attributed to someone else? I’m sure it would have been me that typed this.
