Personally, I liked her as I had seen Suits and always found her to be nice, then I saw beyond the pretty smile and the kind of person she really is. I am mixed race so when I see people like you suggesting I am racist because I am not drawn to someone, it really grates on me. there's no way I would favour one of my parents because of the colour of their skin. This woman seems to have openly done that.

I personaly dont give a **** what colour she is. Racist care what colour she is. Not everyone that criticises her is a racist but just like brexit a lot of racist will have been very vocal on the subject.

I personaly dont give a toss about her and Harry or any other royal but quite to my surprise despite being a non royalist I quite like William and Kate. Especialy Kate.

Actually I wasn't talking about you. It struck me though that a number of other posters are more concerned with what colour she is than anything else.
 
Oprah flew in on her gulfstream to do the interview so I guess we will be spared their lecturing on climate change.

The guy's grandad is in hospital ill and he is slagging his family off to Oprah. I can only imagine what the royal family are saying about him and Meghan behind closed doors.

I doubt she will ever want to come back to the UK and I'm fine with that. Honestly who names their foundation after their child who is only a few years old, completely cringe, but that doesn't surprise me, she seemed to be the only one at the wedding who wasn't embarrassed by that preacher rambling on.
 
When someone is black or trans or whatever other minority they might fall under, some people don't seem to be able to fathom how anyone could dislike or disagree with that person without it being due to the aforementioned issue.

Meghan comes across as an arrogant, self-important **** and represents the very worst of the modern day celebrity who seems to think that her opinions and ideas should be heard and have merit simply because she is famous. Harry has always been a bit of an idiot but a largely human and loveable idiot. Hes now just turned into a sad little woke BS spouting hypocrite.

The media and pretty much everyone I know with a passing interest in the royals like Meghan when she came on the scene. Relations soured when they started to pull away from the rest of the royals and began down their current trajectory. The old "WE WANT PRIVACY (but we also want all the media exposure when we want it)".

Shouting "racist" at anyone who thinks Meghan and Harry are pillocks just reeks of someone who doesn't want a discussion.

Its standard DailyMail BS. The DM is the master of writing crap articles that appeal to people on both sides of the argument. One side likes the story and the other side likes to complain about the story.

The DM isn't racist towards Meghan, they just love stories about her and Harry because they generate a lot of polarisation. Thats media 101 these days. Split opinions and play both sides against each other to increase engagement.

Think we might be talking across issues here. The DM crossed the line with publishing a private letter and the lawsuit was fair but in general I think they are and should be fair game for the papers. I was talking more about the growing rhetoric that the reason people don't like Harry and Meghan anymore is because of racism.

The thing is I keep hearing how horrible she is yet not one person has given any evidence other then some absolute tripe in the mail.


She's had all sorts thrown at her in this thread...people should start backing it up with facts.

So just for arguements sake. If he was Hewitts son and not Charles would he still be a prince due to Diana at the time being the princes or is it purely birth line?

Fact - She has a terrible family history with her father, cutting him off and isolating him so that he has never seen his grandchild.
Fact - She continually drops her many "best friends" when they no longer are useful to her only to collect new ones as she moves up her new social ladder.
Fact - She has isolated Harry away from his Family by moving to the US, somewhere she is apparently comfortable but Harry isn't so he's forced to rely on her to provide guidance - "don't worry, I'll sort out the house, the PR staff & what we're doing, you just go and enjoy yourself Harry".
Fact - She consistently makes things about Her whilst alluding that "people" are against her to activate Harry's understandable protection instinct - "it's them against us, even your family don't like me Harry".

TBF I think that not liking someone over a "feeling" something isn't right is perfectly valid. I mean I've seen women with the same traits amongst some of my co-workers wives and then seen how things inevitably end up in far too many cases - The man left divorced, unable to see his kids, forced to live back with the family he abandoned whilst the ex-wife bleeds his bank account dry with the costs of her two Trophy kids whilst she lives the high life, now set for life, only it doesn't last so she uses her new social ladder to snare another rich high-roller and it starts all over again.

So when I see the same traits in women that have led to bad situations for friends before starting to appear in Megan, that "feeling" that something is off with her is what my gut is telling me is most likely whats going to happen again here, even if I genuinely want to be wrong about it. However time will tell.
