Keeping your drinks cold when gaming

I just googled it, and dammit you can get usb drinks coolers. Another business idea bites the dust

How many drinks you looking to keep chilled? bottles / cans etc.?

I have some of these beer koozies which keep my beers nice and cool on the desk.

There are also can versions if that's what you need.
 
I must admit for all serious lan sessions a dedicated beer fridge was necessary - not only for proximity but for capacity (I do silly things like keep food in the main fridge).

For this though, I'd suggest looking at a 3-way fridge. They work on a completely different principle to either compressor fridges or the thermo-electric absorption fridges (which have a fan, thus noise).

The 3-way fridge works from gas, 12v or mains and works by simply heating up part of the coolant circuit (by electric or gas) which is 100% silent, nothing else will be. Bonus being you can take it camping if you get a calor bottle. Avoids paying festival beer prices :)
