Ketchup on Sandwiches

As a child I used to have ketchup sandwiches, nothing else on it.

Ahh the good old days when we was poor.

Dont use ketchup much nowadays unless its on a cheese butty.

Get some real sausages (from your butcher, I use Copping Bros. of Tooting) cook the sausages on medium with a griddle, don't split them, butter some crusty white bread (tiger bread, regular crusty loaf or baguette all work well), add the sausages and red ketchup (alternatively brown, with british bacon) and enjoy!

Okay, who isn't hungry right now? :D

I always used to have pure ketchup sarnies at school! Used to be addicted to the stuff, though not as much as my mate who will just get one of those sachets and squeeze the ketchup into his mouth :o

could be worse... I had a friend staying with me the other day and I sorted out some food while we watched a DVD and did a couple of burgers and he had ... Tomato ketchup and salad cream mixed together into this pinkish coloured paste ...

Did you try it?

I put that on my burgers too but I put a teeny bit of mustard int it too. It's yummy.

:O I can't believe you people are sanctioning the mixing of two sauces ...

I think one of my autistic traits (everyone has a couple apparently) is that sauces can't be in direct contact with each other ...

I might psyche my self up and try it later ...

Incidentally I believe that prawns are the devils crustacean.

Mostly I use Mrs H.S Balls Chilli chutney for meat related food and Mustard Piccalilli for cheese. I do have ketchup though for the odd occasion where I feel like it and for the kids who like it with scrambled eggs and brown sauce for bacon sandwiches etc.

iv'e done that, it tastes like salad dressing.

also another thing to mix, is tea and coffee, put tea spoon of coffee into a mug of tea .

it tastes like toffee

, it wasn't until a while after i first tried it { by accident , as spoon i was making tea with still had some coffee on it} that i realized that if you take the
't' from tea and remove the 'c' form coffee , you get 'toffee' :D

I'm a brown sauce man myself, i love it on pizza and garlic bread. I've seen myself using it on pasta and even lasagne. Love it :D .
