Keto Diet

After doing a lot of reading on this, I have decided to give it a go, hoping mostly to aleviate my migraines. I started yesterday and have now completed two days.

On day 1 I had 70g of carbs, 4 eggs, 3 rashers of bacon and 2 pieces of chicken 50g of cheese, two tomatoes and some 100ml of milk.

Today I had 3 eggs, 4 rashers of bacon, two pieces of chicken, 50g of walnuts, 3 asparagus spears and spinach, rocket and watercress and one piece of best of both toasted with butter (really needed that)

Today has been strange. I feel like I have eaten a lot, but feel hungry now. At a guess I think it's around 1500Kcal, which I don't think is enough. One slice of bread is 50g so I don't know how I will last with 1/2 a slice tomorrow.

Does this lot seem ok as a diet?
 
honestly, to poopy today to work out the maths. Depending on what your calorie intake was before you started you might want to up the calories. IE if you were eating 3500 calories a few days ago, 1500 now is to low, to big a shock to the system probably.

I'm all screwed, ****** up my eye pretty badly a couple nights ago so am currently doing antibiotic drops in my left eye every hour, day and night from midnight last night(time i left eye hospital after 4 hour wait :( ) to tomorrow when I go back to the hospital. Tired and very very weird days so decided to make this a couple carb up days, eat more than usual, drink diet coke(for semi constant caffeine intake to help feel less like death). Even before I went to carbs i think I'm feeling "off" as my appetite has utterly dissappeared, I felt restless the day/night before i had to take stuff every hour.

Diet's taking a big hit this week, which sucks as I passed another stone marker 4-5 days ago and was feeling really good. Hopefully my appetite will return after I get past this and I can get back to eating a keto diet. Half eating carbs at the moment with the hope it will bring my appetite a bit, I assume eating will be fairly important while fighting infection.
 
The thing is, I m not a big eater, but I'm Irish and my other half is Chinese, which means it rice or potatoes with every meal more or less. The lack of these is making it hard to estimate how much I need to each. Maybe I'll have a bigger omlette tomorrow and throw in a bigger lunch too.
 
I'm at work and really sweating like a female dog for no apparent reason. Is this a side effect of ketosis and can it kick in after 2 days?

I sweat a lot more.

I have keep my chin up, so I can put my drops in :p

Bit shattered this morning, up every hour all night to do the drops, actually much much easier than I thought initially. Feeling crappy from eye, tiredness and I think also carbs, getting that lethargic effect. I barely ate all yesterday before getting back from hospital but had my "ketogenic hyper ridiculous amounts of energy" thing in effect all day. Today, i'm half dead. Gonna start eating keto diet again from now, hopefully they should be saying I'll be fine after seeing them this afternoon as my eye feels/looks much better. If they decrease dose to a drop every 4-6 hours, gonna go straight to bed when i get back :p
 
Caffiene makes me not sleep if i drink it that late

Drink a spirit straight then.

When I cut last month I stuck to whisky and vodka doubles.

Also you'll find it takes less alcohol to get you drunk on a keto diet, found that out the hard way :D
 
When of a keto diet you need to be careful with drinking, i'm sure i've seen people recommending you carb up before hand.
 
Update - now in medium ketosis, the highest ive been!

Can anyone recommend a breakfast that doesnt include eggs for tomorrow?
Im getting sick of them!
 
Bacon, then stick some mushrooms in and quickly wilt some spinach in the same pan once its done is quite nice with some black pepper
