Keto Meal Ideas

Why are you trying to force a diet that clearly isn't compatible with your food preferences?

What's wrong with exercise and a calorie deficit to drop weight?

You really need to eat more veg/fruit, otherwise your diet will be deficient in many micronutrients.

Lastly, doing diets is a bad way to approach this. What happens when the diet is done? Much more sustainable to make life style changes to change the way you eat and exercise than to do short term diets.

A lot has been said above but i am not a huge veg fan but eat it because i need to.

I cover mine in a few dollops of ketchup or encona hot pepper suace. Does the trick. :p

RE: physically sick from loads of different types of veg...I do feel this should be looked at by a professional as it sounds concerning.

Low carb pasta is a thing, though I've never tried it personally. See https://carbzone.co.uk/collections/pasta/products/low-carb-pasta-penne-250g. Not totally carb free but could be worked into a low carb diet. That place does a lot of other things e.g. wraps which you can use for fajitas etc.

Thanks for that it's something that might actually help provide some variety.

Normally calorie defecit and exercise is what I would do, however until I get another operation on my leg I have mobility issues and am pretty much house bound due to the pain, swelling. So I'm having to do my weight loss through diet alone. Also being type 2 diabetic, carbs aren't great for me and I was able to lose 5 stone and put my diabetes into remision using keto previously. Once I get to a healthier BMI and hopefully, finally get my leg sorted out I plan on maintaining a low carb healthy eating plan.

My apologies for not answering this sooner this is something else that has been investigated in the past and was daignosed as non-IgE-mediated food allergy.

Not one with hand grips so I can propell it myself and I can only do very short distances on crutches.

Skipping breakfast, and thus incorporating intermittent fasting, is the easiest way to get over the bacon/eggs overload.

Plenty of ideas here: https://www.reddit.com/r/ketouk/

If you have access to an Aldi, these are legit the best pasta substitutes I have found (they also do a fettuccine version):

As for bread, if you have money to burn: https://seriouslylowcarb.com/products/the-low-carb-loaf?variant=31160501567591

I ordered a bunch of bread rolls from Serious Low carbs and it's opened up my food menu big time.

Been on Keto for about 4 months now and still missing pasta and potatoes though.
