Keyboard and mouse input issues

Decided to hook my keyboard and mouse up to my PS4 as I’m enjoying fornite with my cousins and just cant get my aim right with the contorller.

Worked an absolute treat then after and hour it just said “Keybaord and mouse disconnected”

Anybody got an idea what this issue is and how to fix it? I was using a usb port adapter. I notice before it died I had a little bit on input lag.

Shooter > Kb/Mouse

Controller > platform games

if you're serious about using a mouse and keyboard on console, then you should look into getting a xim4.

Fortnite has native keyboard/mouse support, no adapters needed. Don't like it, take it up with Epic, but it's not cheating.

Holy crap...seriously?

If it’s fair game I’m playing it tonight and kick some butt...I’m terrible on FPS with a pad but above average (years back) with a keyboard and mouse.

Video there of someone using it. Linked it to the point where the keyboard keybinds are shown along with the game saying plug keyboard in to adjust them. Paragon supported it native as well, Epic seem to like doing it. All above board and officially supported.

It's a case of practice, I came from PC to console and never thought I would get better. It takes a while but gets easier. I would suggest playing with settings and gradually increasing sensitivity.
