Keyboard characters

For some bizarre reason, the characters on my keyboard are screwed up.

For example, if I want a pound sign, I get #

If I want the at symbol, I get "

Any ideas how to fix?

Control Panel > Regional and Language Options

Checked in there but couldn't find what I was looking for.

Found it by enabling the language bar on the task bar and put it back to English UK. For some reason it was on US.
