Keyboard decision

I think PC world let you have a play around with there peripherals but it depends if they have them in stock.

Anyways I have a Z-board (Google it), its probably the weirdest keyboard out but I love it for gaming. I am thinking of changing it when I get my new pc though as its a bit of an eye sore.

there are no gaming keyboards out just now that I can find that look good and have cherry mx brown switches :(

although there is the cm storm quickfire rapid coming out which will come in different switch layouts including mx browns :D

Not what you asked at all :)

Best two keyboards ive ever used, a cheap £5 from a computer fair that didnt have a \ (belive me it got really annoying after awhile, always had \ in a text file ready, and ended up re mapping a key, but the keys felt so nice)

And since then a dell keyboard that was donated by myself at work.

I've seen others give nice comments on dell keyboards before, but the keys.. and general feel of the keyboard are very nice.

I have a G13 sat next to it, tryed using it but it just doesn't feel right. About 2months old and already thinking about trying to sell it.

You signed up there? I haven't seen your username about unless you're signed up under something else...

Yea I am, although I have never posted anything ...well not yet anyway. Same username, I pretty much always use Moeks.

Incidentally there is a gaming keyboard with brown switches, the Zowie Celeritas. Also, why must it be a 'gaming' keyboard, a lot of these so called gaming keyboards actually offer very little that differentiates them from those that are not marketed as gaming keyboards.

The Razer Blackwidow Stealth also uses Cherry MX Browns. The Ultimate is above your budget, but the standard edition (which I have) is, if you don't need backlit keys. Only other disadvantage is no UK keyboard layout only US.

well I do have enough, just that I wanted to get a second gtx 460 for sli, but I may up my keyboard budget for the right keyboard :)

lol, I'd rather get the g510 which is cheaper and the only differences are that it has more g-keys, but a worse screen and no usb ports
