Keyboard Inconsistent

Hi, not sure if this is the right place to post, but I'm having keyboard problems with my laptop and was wondering if someone might be able to help.

I bought a ASUS TUF Gaming FA506IC from Overclockers UK back in May 2022, and I'm still happy with it 3 years later, but my keyboard is a little inconsistent.
Specifically, the 's' and 'x' keys don't always work, sometimes pressing multiple times from a quick input, sometimes taking multiple presses to get an actual input through, sometimes failing entirely for a few minutes.

I was going to send a ticket to the company itself, but have lost the order number. I could go to a local repair shop but if there's an obvious fix I'm missing I'd prefer to do that instead!
Any help would be greatly appreciated

Thanks,
-Ovie :)

Depends if it's a physical hardware issue (e.g. caused by dust etc or hardware problem), or whether it's software related e.g. Windows issue, a driver, or Asus software causing the issue.

To rule out software, you could try booting a Linux live distribution and checking that the keyboard works fine under that

based on the inconsistency and occasional double presses, my guess is it's hardware. I'll look into your suggestions, thanks :)
