Keyboard key recognition?

Hey guys I got this razer tarantula keyboard and it has these macro keys on the sides. Does windows know they are there so that they can be used normally?

For example in a game cfg I have bind MOUSE3 /kill

The game knows that MOUSE3 means the middle mousebutton,

It also knows what mouse4 and 5 are, but the keys on the keyboard it doesn't recognise, like if I do bind L1 r_gamma 2 it doesnt recognise the L1 key.

What can I do?

Razor keyboard

Hi,

Have you tried using the software which came with the keyboard/ My saitek one i had to set the macros in the program. Btw they are not keys as such. Instead you can bind keys from the keyboard to them. For example if you were playing cs you could bind keys b (buy) 1 (pistol) 4 (Desert eagle)

Its just to ssave you time so you dont have to press several keys to do one thing.

Ah that kinda sucks for me because I wanted to use the keys to execute actual commands not for them to do macro stuff. Oh well at least they look nice lol

Well only certain keys do, and they have a nice blue light

The side keys which are special macro ones, the caps lock/num lock notifications are lit, the "profile" key is also lit but thats it.

Oh yea there is the logo too that pulses slowly which is cool

only the miscellaneous keys have lights as all the proper keys has the anti ghosting built into them so there isnt any room for lights. Its a sleek looking keyboard shame I am sending my one back tomorrow as I find it uncomfortable to use and my left hand keeps hitting the wrong keys for some reason.
