I'm currently in the process of thinking of buying a new mouse and/or keyboard, and so am searching for a bit of advice. I've currently got a horrible eMachines PS/2 keyboard from 5 years ago (yay) and a Logitech G7.
Not sure whether it's worth it going wired or wireless (considering wired is always a lot more plug 'n' play friendly), or whether I should keep my G7 and buy a keyboard, buy a keyboard and a mouse, or buy a desktop combo.
So far I've had a look around and quite like the look of the Habu as a mouse, but considering I've only £50 to spend, I wouldn't be able to get any decent keyboard with it. The new Intellimouse looks fun, though. I've also been thinking about the Logitech Comfort Laser Desktop, or the Microsoft Optical Desktop 4000.
What would you guys pick out of the 3 options on what to buy? Wired or wireless? And what models?
Edit: I don't even use the programmable extra button on my G7, so having 5 million extra buttons really doesn't matter to me. I just want a decent solution for £50.
Second Edit: Anyone used the Saitek PM27A mouse? Seems very cheap, and has a 3200dpi engine.
Third Edit, Gosh: I'd prefer your full-size keyboard, with the standard-size enter key, insert/home/pageup etc. arrangements.
