Keyboard Recomendations

Existing keyboard has developed an issue where the TAB and "Q" buttons require me to press extremely firmly to register a key press. Keyboard has hard wired switches, so looks like a replacement is needed.

Requirements are:

  • Replaceable switches
  • Wired
  • Low input latency
  • Sze: TKL at an absolute minimum. Preferably 96% but would be fine with full
  • Mechanical switches - I find blue too loud. Red is fine, so that or anything comparable (or better would be fine)
  • RGB :D
  • UK ISO
  • Budget: £100 or under

Possible for the budget?

Well, I've gone against your advice and picked up a new Glorious GMMk2 96% for a bargain £38.

Not quite the level of a Ducky or a Monsgeek but for the cash, I don't expect it to be. But, it is significantly better than my current keyboard and a nice entry point into the modular, mechanical keyboards.

For the price, that's outstanding value. And gives you a decent platform to try different switches/keycaps.

Enjoy.
