Keyed alike lock on side gate

We have a new front door with ABS avocet lock. I’d like to get a keyed alike lock for our side gate. The side gate is a pretty thin, probably not very secure entrance.

I had thought I’d buy a euro cylinder long throw lock but apparently this won’t work with an ABS cylinder as it is does not have a cog.

So now I’m wondering if some kind of rim lock would work?

As you can tell, I’m new to all this and would appreciate any thoughts.

Thanks.

I think last time I looked (we went keyed alike for all the house and the garage man door) there were no options suitable for gates or sheds that would take the cylinders.

Personally I gave up, as there was no point spending a lot on a gate where the lock would have ended up being the most secure part of it.

It looks like you can now get Avocet keyed alike padlocks that take the keys from the doors, but you're looking at something like £75 for the lock and another tenner or so to get it set.
