Hey,

Just wondering if I'd see a massive difference between KFA2 GeForce GTX 760 HOF 2048MB GDDR5 and the KFA2 GeForce GTX 770 LTD OC 2048MB GDDR5.

If I could pick up the 760 model considerably cheaper would that be a better option? Or is the extra for the 770 worth it.

770 is on average about 20% faster than a 760.

...I've just installed a MSI 760 OC edition today and is within 10% of a stock 770, an extra 10% wasn't worth another £80 to me, Only you can decide if it's worth it to you.

And I can tell you when you upgrade from a Radeon 4850 to a 760....it's officially mind blowing. :)

Around the £200 mark the R9 280 (non-X) is the card to go for, unless your REALLY REALLY need an Nvidia card.

If you can get a 760 for under £160, go for it, if not. The R9 280 it has to be.

I had a giga 760 and OC'd it, then I got a 680 (basically a 770) I was dissapointed in the difference TBH, even on benchmarks there wasnt much difference. Buying again I'd get a 760 as I dont feel its worth the extra cash. I have a 7970 now though (280X) which Im pleased with :)

The 760 is very close indeed in performance to the 670, so I expect there wouldn't be that much between that and the 770, at least in a good number of situations anyway.

So from what you guys have said I'd probably br better going for a 760 OC. It has to be an Nvidia card for a reason that shall remain nameless....

If your looking at something like this the extra £80 is not worth it for the GTX 770

The GTX 770 is a good bit faster than the GTX 760, i think for 1080P it really ought to be the GTX 770, IMO its a little to expensive for what it is, the GTX 760 makes more sense at its £170 price point, but even that could do with being a bit cheaper.

So how about option C?

Get a pair of GTX 660' for £250? http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=GX-038-KF&groupid=701&catid=1914&subcat=2379

Same price as the singular GTX 770.
