I hate society. It's not racist, it's not even that stereotypical.
Sure, every single black person that I know in my school loves chicken, but so what?
When there was an India v England cricket series, there was an ad that had an Indian guy making a spicy curry for Kevin Pietersen. Is it racist to say that white people can't handle our food? Is it racist to say that Indian people eat lots of curry, and it's always spicy? NO, however it is ignorant to think that curry is all that there is to Indian food. But this ad, and the KFC ad are by no means racist at all. This PC world sucks, this is why there's a recession, because everybody's common sense is receeding

The simpsons, family guy always show Irish as Drunk rowdy leprechauns, and the English as tea drinking poofs, and the Irish and English dont get up in arms and slap it all over TV and radio.
I mean the family guy last night had an English American football team called the Silly Nannies and their usual stereotype about the English.
That ad is just a **** take, they can take the **** out of every other nation but no one else can take the mick out of anyone else.
Now i am off to the pub to get ****ed and slap the missus as she keeps dipping her hands in me pot of gold.

KFC snack boxes are pretty nice and reasonably priced for a change. i usually get the one with a strip of chicken

Some ppl are a bit over-sensitive TBQFH.... Does it really matter if a certain stereotype says that black ppl prefer fried chicken ?? Thats all it is, a stereotype which most educated ppl will know is a load of crap....
Do I get uppity if I get called a tight fisted, ginger, skirt-wearing, haggis eating, caber tossing, moaning git simply because ppl know I am Scottish ?? NO, because its FUNNY when ppl make jokes about Scottish ppl being tight etc... ITS A JOKE AND NOT SERIOUS.
However it seems to be the norm now that jokes about ppl are ok as long as they dont include BME's*.
Here's the thing about jokes... Somebody somewhere is getting the **** taken out of them. Thats the crux of a joke, thats what makes 'em funny....

It's not racist, but I can see why the Americans have leapt on it, given that there are plenty of gags about black folk and fried chicken.
Mind you, these are West Indians, not "African Americans" who are largely descended from Africans, so the ethnic groups in questions are actually quite disparate.

I thought that West Indians were descended from Africans too? i.e. they were the same Africans sold as slaves when all that was going on. Just that some went to cotton plantations in the USA, and some went to British colonies in the West Indies.
its not a load of crap try living in a primarily black area and see what the west indian takeaway places sell
its like saying chinese people dont eat the food served in chinese takeaways.
