Hey people I dont know anyone here has any experience / knowledge of good places to buy my nephew a new Scooter.

Its either gotta "Mad Gear Pro" or "Grit" branded I think.

We dont mind buying him something reasonably expensive if its built to last, cos hes managed to break the cheaper ones.

He comes up with stuff around £120 so I guess thats the going rate. Ive done a quick google but I imagine some of you guys are Parents/young people and might have an insight.

Cheers guys :)

My Frank staffy dog hates these things & goes mental when they ride by with there noisy wheels.

My boys have a scooter each and they cost nowhere near £120.

The ones we got were about £45 tops from The Entertainer and they get a lot of abuse and they are not broken at all.

The cheaper ones are generally folding ones and they seem to pose a problem and become rattly. My Nephew is often down the Skateboard Park with Half Pipes and Ramps etc. I see his mates with the pricier Scooters and they seem far more durable.

£120 for one of then crappy fold up scooters? no chance you can get them much cheaper than that. Why do kids use these crappy things nowadays, back when I was a kid it was BMX, mountain bikes, skates and skate boards, things that required skill to ride and do ticks on. These scooter things are a load of junk imo.

The decent ones dont fold and kids seem to be doing tricks and stunts on em anyway. Hes got a decent bike and Skateboard. Its good that hes out all the time and his Xbox barely gets turned on.

In my area I never see kids on bikes just these scooter things.
