I can hardly tell when the pump is firing up or shutting down!

Shutting down definately can't hear anything, starting up theres a slight wooshing sound of the water going through the rad - but nothing from the pump - I love this pump - tis awesome

Hmmm, can you do me a favour. when you turn it off, how long does it take for the pump to stop spinning? I think mine stops quite abruptly and that's what is making the noise.

Curious - you ever run your pump dry? i.e. let the water completely drain out of it?

I've only just used it recently. Bought 2nd hand and owner said never ran dry.

I made sure it never ran on air when filling it. Maybe it will go over time.

Its probably just the remenants of air in your loop. I have heard that rez takes a long time to fully bleed in. Following this closely as I have the same pump + rez for an upcoming build

Yeah likely something like that. I didnt hear it at all when filling or when I leak testing over night :S Very strange.

Sorry mate, forgot to post last night!

Checked yesterday - it stops almost immediately once the system has powered down - but makes no noise at all - starting and stopping.
