I made a reivew on youtube, just posting it here incase you've never heard of it. I'm new to making video reviews, so tips would be appreciated. Also, tell me what you think about the game ;)

Maybe you listen too slow :P. It was fine for me.

This is a review I wrote on Killing Floor, I'd agree with pretty much all of your review. Fantastic game.

Fantastic review mate :)

Also, just wondering if it's okay to post more reviews, I only have 3 or so more. If it's against forum rules, I wont. But I'd just like for people to see my material, give me tips etc.

You talk TOO FAST!

He's not talking to0 fast. He reading straight from a script and missing out the pauses where there is a full stop most of the time. That and/or the sentences on paper were originally too long anyway :D

Leutrim.23, next time use bullet points for what you want to say and talk around them rather than writing a full script. It will sound much more natural to the viewer. If you've ever had to give a presentation (solo or group) at college then that is more or less how you should approach it in your preparation.

Thanks for the advice, greatly appreciated. The thing is, my accent is not english, it's a thick foriegn accent as you might have picked up. So write the review in bullet points (from the heart), and read them in turn, then when i edit it comes out quick. Funny thing is, my past video reviews have had 2-3 second pauses at times, but a reviewer said I shouldnt pause.

I'll try decreasing the speed next time, thanks a lot for the advice so far!

i've gotta say all your points were valid and to the point not like ign or gamespot bias ******** so it don't matter aslong as i can understand what your saying its good enough overall good review. Your accent was better then a generic american one mate

As soon as he mentioned Corporate Cats I stopped listening. Yeah down with the man and up with the...err man.

L4D was made with professionalism and passion and was developed brilliantly.

Same here, or at least I wanted to stop but carried on anyway... And If he wants to get picky, technically KF is worse as it was a mod that has been bought out and is now being sold as a retail product... Tripwire is not a mod team, they are a company out to make money. So who's being dictated to by corporate cats now? :p

There are also a few issues throughout the review. For example, you DO play maps the same way twice because of the way they are designed, the music is terrible and any serious gamer disables it within 10 seconds of buying the game and the speech is also laughably bad and repetative.

I must ask, why the instant comparison to L4D? Apart from the zombie/horror theme they are nothing like each other really. And why the seemingly random percentages? A mark out of 5 or 10 would be much better.

So in summary, a good review. But you have to focus on making sure all statements you make correct, don't try and push your opinions of companies and work on your speech a little.

7/10 ;)
