No idea why but after having not played this for ages I fired it up again the other night. Really enjoyed it! If you get a good squad it really makes the game interesting.
Any OCUK'ers still play this? The randoms I've been playing with have been hit and miss, could do with people that actually communicate to attempt the harder difficulties!

Me and a few friends still play have a LVL 6 medic.
I shall change my steam name back to porushinobu lol
keep changing it to something silly XD

As for the game itself I do enjoy it from time to time.

I always fancy going back to this every so often, a very underrated and under appreciated game in my opinion.

A lot of people see KF as that, but that's the problem - it's not simple at all, when you ramp the difficulty up!

If you've a good team, the Sharps' will be taking down the big stuff economically before they get close in, while support/commando will be keeping the sharps clear of crawlers etc, and the medic(s) just keeping everyone topped up and helping out with mid-range firepower.
Sadly for me, the recent weapon purchasing changes have taken some of the fun away, I liked having the massive weight loadout capacity of the Support class, and bringing along a M79 just for the fun of it!

I've played a fair bit of Killing Floor, and had some great laughs and tense moments. And yes, I own the Chicken suit. The one you can't buy. :cool:

I keep trying to get back into this but every server i join keeps downloading files, they seem never ending then I get bored and quit. Is there any way to disable these auto downloads?

Don't think so, they're server-side additions. Yeah, I tend to quit joining some servers as the Unreal engine has terribly slow speeds at sending files out to people. If it's a non-standard map, don't bother joining the server.

How so? What problems are you hitting? Can't promise to be of much help, but I've had experience sorting various issues out with KF.

I think all my perks are level 6 now,love this game,and as someone said before,it is a underrated game and needs more recognition for such a good game.
