Just wondered as I sit downstairs in the office playing with powerpoint to make a map of the store, what does everyone do to kill time/skive at work?

we usually just stand round watching music videos, but have been known to create our own table hockey games using counter tops, answering the phones in abnormal ways and playing on consoles.

let's hear the lazyness!

cant really do this as of late as targets have been introduced in my work. awful.

they keep trying that here, it's rather funny really, my asst manager knows i just bum around on OCUK all day, I even show him the random pictures thread from time to time, he loves it

I wanna work in your place. if we're caught on the internet we get rushed straight into a disciplinary meeting. sad really.

apparently they record internet useage, so if anyone looks at the records and figures out a link, i'm royally screwed:D

but I've not heard of any instances so far, so *touch wood* i'll be ok, though i hide everything when the real manager comes nearby

Do what a bloke in our office does. Friday afternoon is a corker.

1) Print off reams of technical docs, instruction manuals, emails etc..
2) Stand at the printer looking genuinely enthused and a little more excited as each sheet adorns the last in it's neat little stack.
3) Carefully take the new wad of paper (poor tree) and walk towards the other end of the office with a thoughtful and deeply involved look on your face.
4) Inspect each page, top to bottom.
5) Then the back.
6) Shred.
7) Repeat until wad of paper is gone.
8) Congrats, it's 4.30pm - go home!

I kid you not. :)
