Killzone 3(maybe official thread?)

Think I'm going to pick this up tomorrow and trade in GT5 towards it.

I'm normally a COD MP whore but did enjoy BF2:BC which this sounds a lot more like? Especially as people have said that it's annoying having retards on your team - one of the reasons why I like COD as I can do my own thing when my teams retarded.
 
got this from game today £42.99 WTF! just glad i had £15 of reward points, no wonder people dont shop on the high street anymore with game and HMV charging the earth for products you can a lot get cheaper online

they wont send you kz3, u will be waiting weeks, you have to have 10 things queued before they will send anything out, and in my experience they send crap u dont really want first
 
Worth a shot if they do I will just send them back and cancel, in fact might just remove them all now and not bother don't want crap I won't play.

I've already given up with MP. I just can't kill anybody in it. I really liked MP in killzone 2 but just can't get on with it in this game:(
 
Wow, seeing those comments about Shopto is worrying although so far I've not had reason to doubt them I must say. It is worth mentioning though I did preorder my copy from Gameplay and as is the norm with them it did arrive a day early. Great game though, I will definitly be playing it again, maybe try it on a harder difficulty or even give the online a go (I tried it offline with bots to see what the maps were like and they are excellent).

Only played KZ3 beta, but I felt the same when I first played it biron, just give it time you get better weapons and used it.

Although I like the new kz3 MP I must admit I miss the heavy feel of killzone 2 the sounds and atmosphere.

Decided to pick up on way home. Been playing MP all night using the Move - Think am finally getting the hang of it. Am often finishing near the top of scroe boards.

Can see where my weekend will go once I have finished Dead Space 2 tomorrow :)

Squad up with some people - it appears theres already quite a few well organised teams out there that are already spawn camping and the like. Too many noobs treat Warzone as TDM and it really makes a lot of tasks in game difficult if all people are doing is perserving KPB and not territory...

Had a go on the demo today as I haven't had chance to play it all week, seemed very average to me, although I did like some of the new weapons.

Went back to Killzone 2 and thought I'd try a run through on the harder difficulty levels again, it just felt boring. I did really enjoy playing through it before as well and spent some time on the Mp, It's strange, I want to like it but can't. I found myself getting annoyed at the FOV and the fact that it get's so blurry sometimes, the multiplayer seems a bit rubbish as well coming from other games.

I'll just give killzone 3 a few months and pick it up when it's cheap. I do feel a bit sad that I've come to dislike it so much though, especially as it was one of the main reasons I decided to go for the Ps3 :(

Not sure I can mention the name of the company (as its a competitor to overlockers) but think of the colour purple and the biggest computer games high street store in the uk :confused:
 
had about 4 hours on mp today with poly wookie tony888 edz and badger cheers for joining it was a pleasure as always hopefully learn frozen dam because we all ran round like headless chickens on that earlier :D
 
Looking at how we played it deffo seems to me if you hold the spawn capts and keep spawning at them to prevent recapture it helps a lot. That and having nearby friendly ammo crates and engineer bots to cover them...

The more I play this the more I think the medic class has been ruined in KZ3 because the spawn capts on most maps are in very useful points (if you can hold the furthest away you are in the thick of the action).

Im gonna start on infiltrator and see how I go with that - we deffo had some fun games earlier, moreso than yesterday :p. I still hate snipers (a lot)...

I picked up a PS3 phat from a mate for Killzone 3 , GT5(crap game) and Uncharted 3, the demo of KZ3 was ok but nothing outstanding as I said I thought GT5 was terrible just hope U3 is good when it comes out.

That's what was doing my head in. I remember killzone 2 was the same. It's too easy to spawn kill I think. A lot of the time I barely got out of spawn before I died:mad:

I should be on tonight but it won't be til 8:30ish.
