Does anyone here still play this? I played it at the start of the year and absolutely loved it, but then got distracted by other games. Heard it had problems with popularity online but I decided to give it another blast the other day whilst waiting for NFS - didn't have a single problem getting a full game and it was still brilliant. Been playing it loads this week.

Such a shame this game never got the attention it deserved!

I tried it when it first came out, gave up as the framerate on Warzone, which seemed to be the most popular mode was just awful. Did they ever bother to fix it? or is the framerate still terrible?

It does still dip at times, but it's only ever for a second or two and never enough to really bother me (and I'm usually pretty fussy with frame rate.)

the mp was ok but nowhere near as good as killzone 2 and it was all down to getting rid of mobile spawns.
i organised the clan on here just like kz2 but the following soon dropped of due to the fact that it was not as good.

Slow down seemed to occur mainly on the snow maps, also the spawning seemed borked and the melee also seemed to be hit or miss for me, was ok during the beta but for some reason when it went retail was getting maybe 1/5 melee kills, which was problamtic as i usually plated infiltraitor/saboteur and getting in behind enemies and meleeing to keep the disguise is a must.

I loved KZ3 MP, really really loved it. I got caught up with other games though and my friends stopped playing it so I never really got back to it, I thought it was one of the most well balanced multiplayers in quite some time.

If KZ3 had mobile spawns like KZ2 it would have been epic, the problem with KZ3 is if you controlled the spawns that was game over, especially in some of the game modes.

I enjoyed both MPs for different reasons. I do think KZ2 had some better (larger) maps though. Because of the relative skill in actually killing things I must admit its probably my favourite set og FPS of this generation (MAG is close, never had enough people with mic and organisation to really get into it proper). The game mode where you had differing objectives to defend/attack really made it pretty intense all throughout the mode.

ps3ud0

I used to love the multiplayer on this game. I played it for hours and hours. Until I snapped my Blu-ray disc in half due to rage. It's the only game ever to have made me do this.
