Kimsufi server..ubuntu.. ssh tunnel from my desktop pc

I managed to use set up putty before to make a ssh tunnel to my server from my desktop for browsing the net, downloading etc.

I cant remember for the love of god how i did it!

Im a complete and utter dumb ass at unbuntu and know nothing about it but use it as a ftp and for some torrenting.

I use x2go to connect
 
The proxy server is refusing connections

Firefox is configured to use a proxy server that is refusing connections.

Check the proxy settings to make sure that they are correct.
Contact your network administrator to make sure the proxy server is working.

im getting this when trying to connect from my firefox desktop. Ive followed everything to the word. Do i need to do anything at the end of ubuntu?

Putty connects fine btw
 
just wanted to say thanks as i forgot how to do it again but found this thread and this time what you posted worked fine!
