Kindle Box Request

This may sound like a strange request, but bear with me. I want to get hold of a Kindle box, just the box and in as near new condition as possible.

Any of you still have your Kindle box and are willing to give it to me? I will pay postage of course!

Non-essential back story… My girlfriend despises Kindles, or any ebook reader for that matter. So for Christmas I want to wrap up and give her this, but I’ll put a real book inside!

Any takers? Email in trust.

My wife hates them too and I keep threatening to buy her one. If Fergie gets an empty box and there is a 2nd person with a box, I'd happily pay postage to get it

I really doubt it would work, but you could explain the situation to Amazon and see if they'd be willing to send you a plain Kindle box.

Completely unrelated but I acquired this a while ago and someone has yet to spot it on the book shelf. So the joke has been redundant so far.

Unless you absolutely know her sense of humour and are 100% sure she'd be against a kindle even as a present this has the potential to backfire... badly.

She will find it funny, we've been together 7 years, her sense of humour is very much like mine..... I hope :eek:

Also she really really hates Kindles, so there is no chance of her wanting it.
