Folks need to learn the difference between GB and GiB tbh.

In my daily job I have to convert Hex to Binary then to Octal and then finally to Decimal to be able to read various equipment fault codes (some are only Hex to Binary, some are the whole hog) so the difference in Base-2 vs Base-10 number systems is deeply ingrained into me so much that, when I see a PC based figure shown as a Base-10 number I automatically translate it to Base-2 in my head without conscious effort.

Yeap, pretty sad
