The voice control works for me when using Sky Player or viewing streamed videos. Can you do things like open the DVD tray by saying "Xbox Open Tray" or "Xbox Close Tray" while in teh Kinect Hub?

There's only one version of Kinect hardware, but the standalone version includes an adaptor which is part PSU and part USB breakout.

This is the only pic I could find with a UK standard Plug.

...and MS did say they would be selling the plug separately, if they're not doing so already.

Your talking Pennies on something that allready does not cost a lot to run. With Average use a 360 uses about £25 a year in leccy...kinect uses approx 12w so I doubt you would even notice a difference.

What we disagree on is whether there would be an actual difference in the 360S PSU consumption if it didn't have unused overhead for Kinect.
