Most people keep on banging on about how there's no games for the PS4, when there's more than their is on the XB1 by the looks of it on there and more better titles too (rated green).

Also I'm sure the likes of lego, rayman, etc are on both consoles and they are the biggest kids games apart from COD and FIFA which are also on both consoles.

or was it the fact my son got a ps4 on xmas day and couldnt use it for 7 weeks or so due to sonys incompetance?? at least with the RROD as long as i had the receipt and kicked up a fuss in the shop they changed it the same day i took it back

also if i really wanted to play any given game bar exclusives in 1080/1200/1440 etc i would just get them for the pc instead.

That's not what the OP said, he said "im actually fed up with my son complaining theres never any games for it new " that is a

ok my son currently owns the following games

Infamous ss, cod, BF4, fifa14 and thief. theres one more i cant remember. he has no desire to play lego games or rayman etc or any kiddies games. he aint into american sports etc and final fantasy doesnt appeal to him after that there is not much for him to choose from hence his moaning about no new games to get.

and i never said either that the X1 had more choice of games either

There is no way unless you messed something up or didn't bother contacting Sony to follow them up that it takes 7 weeks to get a console back from them. You can also take it straight back to the retailer for a replacement right there and then usually if you bought it from a well known reputable retailer.

I got my controller posted back next day by a courier as soon as I phoned them up and complained after a week to ask what had happened to the controller I had sent to them for replacement. It was resolved within 24 hours of my phone call to them.

Games are all subjective, to say there's nothing to play on the PS4 is a lie, plenty of games, maybe take a look through that list and buy some.
 
console was from argos and they informed me that after the first 30 days iirc then all warranty repairs had to be handled by sony. was a pain in the backside process and we had to wait while others who had returned consoles before us had theres replaced. i was on another forum just before xmas and apparently there was a massive backlog ( sony claimed as much as 10% worldwide but around 6% uk, i shall see if i can find my email replies ) of people waiting for them to be replaced and that was why the wait was so long.

war thunder, killzone, tomb raider, assassin's creed, injustice, need for speed, trials fusion, metal gear solid, etc, etc.


in fact i could list about 100 games but it's a lot easier if you just look through the link I posted

Please lock. The usual suspects have derailed it as expected, instead of talking about MS' vision for the future of the One it's turned into another PS4 vs Xbox trollfest.

Well that is quite blatantly not true. You could have simply quoted the Sale of Goods Act. They sold you a faulty item, not the manufacturer.
