King Charles III / Royal Family

I expect it is prostate still. i had two investigations before mine was identified and i chose to have it removed. I don't know if he has. The treatments could be radiotherapy or hormones.

I'm not going to lie and without wanting to sound too callous, if he ends up needing to step aside for William and Kate it would probably actually be a good thing. I'd like a younger King/Queen after so long of having an older monarch.

Discovered during a prostate procedure.

I’m guessing bladder or bowel cancer. Both often asymptomatic in the early stages
Yeah, assumed this would be "just" prostate cancer, but that's possibly something a bit more serious, though maybe caught early in that case. Would have to think he's extremely poked, prodded and scanned.

He’s a fair age at 77 so won’t be too long until it happens anyway (not trying to be mean about it).

When the news started they were so downcast I thought we’d gone to war or aliens had invaded.

Bowl or bladder is my guess. I would have thought he would have regular blood tests which should have identified any kind of haematological condition. He certainly would have had one before the prostate treatment, so they would have known about it very quickly if it was.
