King Kong glitch help

I'm finally starting to play through king kong. I'm on the level where you have to protect jimmy from the V rex's. He's supposed to get in the raft after you kill them but he just stands there. They are all dead. Hayes runs on and if you follow him jimmy dies.

Any ideas on getting past this bug.
 
What the whole game? The save is just from that section of the level so when you reload it reloads the bit where jimmy is being attacked. I kill them all and he stands there.
 
Is this the bit where you're in the cavern (it's been a while since I played, so you'll have to forgive me), the girl runs off after you kill the rex's and if you move away from the middle Jimmy 'dies' even though he's not being attacked?

If so I got stuck here as well, imo it's a game killing bug but I did figure a way round it.

From the central point listen and look very very carefully ahead and right (think 90 degrees clockwise) looking at where you came in. You should see the top of a rex's head, over a ridge. Now, take pot shots and you will hit it. You'll know when you have as it'll let out a roar.

Now, it took me a few goes (ran out of ammo) but I did hit manage to hit it enough that it caused the 2nd wave of rex's to spawn.

Don't die! and it will save again.

Nah i meant the save not the whole game, very odd i just ran on to the raft when told to and he got onto the back one that was getting pulled, if its the raft level your talking about. :)
 
Right mate sussed it. Had to reboot the whole xbox. It was missing sound I noticed it when I clicked B to tell me how much ammo I had left.

The gun fire still sounded but the Voices werent there. Reloaded and the voices where there. Level done.

Actually I'm really Enjoying this game, had a few glitches along the way but its very enjoyable just to pick up and do a few levels.

It's a LOT better than people think. Something I've maintained since launch day.

It is a very good game, just a shame it's over so quickly. I really enjoyed playing it though.
 
I had one spot where it locked up twice but i'm not sure if that was down to the live update I did right before I played it. Its been fine since.

I dont think it's that short a game either, 40 plus levels. Some take me a few attempts, like save ann where you have to distract the T-Rex with spears.

Some of the earlier levels I wish there was more ammo and less pointy stick action.
