** Kingdom Come : Deliverance 2 **

I do enjoy the game even though at the beginning I found it frustrating.

The best part of the game is the atmosphere for me. I love the scenery and the landscape and the attention to detail. Like the birds chirping etc and just being out in the woods during the rain.

For me Tainted Grail is still the best open world RPG , i love the immersion of KCD2 [its literally industry leading] but the combat is only marginally better than poor combat of KCD1 and the game in general is on the boring side for me.
Avowed while having better combat and less boring in the gameplay department is still flawed.
Tainted grail is a modern Skyrim and its not even version 1.0 yet.

Added Tainted Grail to my wishlist on steam, always happy to have more RPG goodness!

Ok. So there's a minor difference to the ending. But it's not like failing to win means you fail the quest. So either way it's not worth the time.
Somewhat strange attitude. Quests resolving in various ways depending on what player does is bread and butter of RPGs.

Good lord no, I died over 30 times trying to take out the 5 poachers in the camp to rescue the horse for the game master. I simply suck far too much at the combat for this. Great for people who enjoy that though.
For that mission you just need to wait until midnight. Three of the bandits are sleeping - use the dagger to subdue them. Then the last two patrollers just square up to with your sword.

KCD invites thinking outside the box over brute "reload and try same thing 30 times" approach. As Mobius says, getting them while they sleep, or poisoning their food, or using bow and hit+run guerilla style are all valid approaches.

All good points, I did not have a dagger, or a bow and have zero knowledge on how to poison the food :D. I'm playing blind too so it's been super fun.

I ended up drawing the bow men out of the camp, I could take them all apart from the big shield chap who just annihilated me, but managed to get them and then run away from him and hide in the treasure room, then drink a couple of marigold concoctions and wear him down. Plus to be honest I'm not playing the stealth style at the moment, I am playing the go in and hit things with a sword style, whereas I'll probably do a re-play through where I prioritise stealth and thief etc. I'll easily get multiple playthroughs of this game.

I did steal the bow from one of the bowmen a few time, but because I hadn't used one yet, my aim was so bad it just caused me more trouble.

I struggled too. You have to gear up a bit and practice the fights with Tomcat a bit.

Most likely, I still had starter gear and haven't been to Tomcat yet. I'm just following the quest chain to get my dog at the moment. I'm probably doing things all in a very non-optimised way, but that's half the fun.

Yea I didn't do things optimally either. But it's hard to know before hand. I'd say get your horse and dog asap.

70 hours in, just killed Casper and gave his ring to Gules, purchased the dress and convinced jamaican inkeeper to give me her perfume, no more quests on the map or in questlog, I think I am finally ready to go to this effin wedding ;):D

Trosecko, you were beautiful, but it is time to move on from you.
