** Kingdom Come : Deliverance 2 **

The combat was good imo. After reaching max level and buying the best equipment some peasants knocked me off my horse and clubbed me to death.

Which is pretty realistic to be fair. It would be impossible to get up with the weight of all that armour!! You were probably like a turtle turned upside down. :p

this is included with prime to play on Amazon luna if you have a good internet connection. Don’t miss out.

Edit. Or even as a try before you buy I guess?

Bought this before Xmas and been playing it almost non stop since then. Fantastic game so far, despite lots of little annoyances. Having a dog companion has done nothing for the game. Was it even something people were looking for? However, the most annoying thing for me is the dialogue options. Not the options themselves(well, they could be better too) but Henry doesn't always say what you expect with any given dialogue choice. The game should give you the choices based on what your speech and charisma levels are. It shouldn't give you generic options and leave you wondering what Henry is going to say based on whatever his speech level is.

And despite really enjoying the game, there are times when all the nicey nicey gets too much for me and I just want to go on an axe murdering rampage throughout the countryside. :p

Really enjoying this so far, about 75hrs in coming to end of the first map I think, playing on hardcore with all negative perks on, which ain’t really that difficult due to the perks that you can get to counter them. Though the start can be rough, had to spend like 1 hr brewing saviour snaps to level alchemy.

Henry fox potion also negates the slow levelling which is still a lot quicker than hardcore in the original KCD (that run took me 175hrs-200hrs with all side quests plus dlc and still did not max out main level, weapon skills where only around 12-13.

Glad I went through the first game as there are a lot of reference to that game that made me chuckle, would recommend anyone to play through before you play this.

This game is a lot smoother than the first, prefer the combat, dog is even more useful and easier to interact with, I enjoy the variation in the map more, Trosky castle is immense.

Can’t wait to get to the second map and continue story.

Have you done hardcore as you first play through then, tempted to try that myself.

I need to start the first one though which I own along with all the DLC. Played a bit already but stopped when I started a women's lot DLC, it was really boring. Shame as everything else was great. Will have to restart again as it's been months since I played it.

Yeah hardcore straight from the off in Kcd2. Made it to the second map after 80 hrs.

KCD 1 women lot dlc is quite lengthy compared to the others, though I prob spent most time doing the Rattay tournament, must have done about 20x during my playthrough.

The big difference for hardcore is no fast travel or player marker on the map so you have to learn key landmarks for getting bearings. It’s a big time commitment. My KCD 1 playthough took a year to complete, though I was other games in between sessions.
