Is this worth the extra money when compared to buying 2 extra stickes for my PC? Will there be any drop in preformance going from to 2 to 4 or is it better to pay and get 2 sticks of this stuff?

I don't think it's worth the money tbh honest when two 2x1gb kits of pc6400 with the same timings can be had for ~£235.

If you were needing 8gb then it would be fine.

But, since most people will probably be using DDR3 by the time they need 8gb, I would stick to the 2x1gb kits.

I don't know why anyone would buy the 2x2GB sets (£352.49) when you'd be £35.27 better off buying it separately (1 x 2GB = £158.61 x2 = £317.22).
