I don't think we can underestimate the use of pace setters. The slip stream effect is quite comprehensive, hence the diamond formation around him. He won't have that in an official attempt, or an official marathon, and there are few pace setters who would want, or be able to run at that speed so personally, I think there's a bit of work still to do.

I think it is like the 4 minute mile barrier: now it has been done, more people are going to do it.

Records have - a lot of the time - psychological components to them and now that this one has been crushed, it is no longer there. It will still take a superhuman to do it with the all right genetics, nutrition, wind directions, etc., but will happen.
