Nothing has been announced I'm afraid but I like to believe it's a case of when not if. Unfortunately, due to the success of the latest Star Trek movie, a TV series would probably be based around the movie universe rather than all the various series' and movies that came before.

So yeah, clearly Picard. Mainly because if I answer wrong, I'll never get laid again :p
 
Picard I'd take into a tricky diplomatic/plotical situation

Sheridan if there was a war to be won.

I'd have Adama if it was a suicidal mission where the odds were against us, where some sheer lunacy was required.

It makes me laugh how the captain and senior officers of the ship always put themselves in harms way. It never bothered me watching it as a child but it seems a bit ridiculous when i watch it now.

If William Adama was a choice i would chose him istead :p
