KITT CAR
Mean Merc shows its dark side

To the casino KITTThere’s been much talk recently of what will replace KITT in the new Knight Rider film but we think the producers may have overlooked this perfect candidate.

Forget Mustangs and Trans Ams what the Hoff really wants to be rolling in is this, the Wald Mercedes CL-Class.

It is possibly one of the meanest looking Mercs available and even gives Brabus a run for its money in the nasty stakes.

Details are a bit sketchy but there is a vast array of new bits stuck on and cut out of the already good-looking CL, including new side skirts, spoilers and vents.

The wheels of course are black and the whole thing looks like the kind of car Batman would use at the weekends.

No word of engine upgrades but then AMG Merc CL’s are hardly short on power in the first place.

Looks hardcore

That has to be the first car I've seen where black wheels look ok. As long as they don't make KITT electric / Biodesel / hybrid to appease the greens, I don't mind :D

(checks wiki)

You're right!

Fuel Processor - KITT was powered by a turbine engine primarily fueled by hydrogen gas. However, his complex fuel processor allows him to run on any combustible liquid, even regular gasoline. KITT's actual fuel requirements and efficiency ratings were classified, however in one episode, KITT mentioned his fuel economy was at least 100 miles per gallon. However, when operating on fuels other than liquid hydrogen, KITT's fuel efficiency and power output may be lowered.

KITT was dual (at least, more like multi) fuel :)

Can u tell i have been making my way through my season 1-4 knight rider boxset :D

that merc is 100x better than the mustang to be kitt but bring back the trans am baby

To recap, there will three versions of KITT in the new Knight Rider TV show: a standard KITT Hero car, a more combative and winged KITT Attack (shown above), and KITT Remote for when the protagonist whispers into his Seiko watch, "KITT, I need help."

That merc is nice, but its not an american muscle car, so its not allowed to be KITT. IMO the new Dodge Challenger would be a good candidate.
