Kiwis Build Log, 5 years and counting!

Looks sweet man. One thing I was wonering though, is on your tests for Far Cry why you had no AA at all? AA is the first thing I boost up on any game, and i'm a bit worried why you havn't with 2x 4870s.

Don't worry mate, it was the requirement for the Far Cry 2 benchmarking thread. In game i always use AA :)

That is one beautiful setup there. Temps are great too. I was wondering if SLI/CRossfire could work on 120.2 rad, and looks like it would work like a charm:)

Would 120.2 be enough for that CPU or would that be not enough?

oohh - now theres pretty

good work

only thing i would change is removal / equal spacing of coils [but im a neatness ocd type]

Where is the second rad, i can see one in the bottom at the front, is the other attatched to the roof, if so, how did you secure it there. Apart from that, WELL DONE

Yep the PA120.3 is attached to the roof using screws. Glad you like the build. If you have any specific questions around the custom case and where to get the cuts done - send me an email :)

You should! Just do the research and then piece together your build bit by bit. I think all up it took me about 3-5months to get my build to the way it is today and there is still room for improvement.

just thinking of getting a lian li pc-a70b or a pc-v2010B and basicly copying you compleatly. but some advice about genrally were to position the rad mounting holes would be great. Also apart from the powder coating, rad holes, and windows what else was modded in the case?

Hi Mate - good to hear that your taking the plunge :) Apart from the above there are custom DDC mounts that have been added to the case. With regards to the case, may i also suggest the TJ07 - it seems to be the case of choice at the moment and IMO looks really easy to work with.

If you email me (it's in my trust) i can provide you with the uk company that provides all of the above case modding services :)
