So knockbacks via email OR in person. Is it better to let someone down gently via email rather than deal with the possible emotion in person?

do you reckon knockbacks via email/text are kinda impersonal though?

So better to do it to their face?

Honour requires face to face.

I can personally vouch for it being so much better than finding a 'Sorry, but I've got to have some space' note on the coffee table after almost 10 years together
...and no, I got the note.

If it's after then she might be able to launch the sarnie at your head. If she's still making it then you can make a runner out the window :D
