Hi All

I am looking for a it of advice on the best script to use for the following;

Ability to upload documents for discussion in all standard formats.
Ability to record comments on discussion documents or edit the document
Controlled access to site
General forum area

All advice greatfully received. I am a novice at this so installation difficulty would also be a consideration.

Would a Wiki not work for this???

We recently started using DokuWiki at work - it's awesome, does everything we need.

We also use the DokuBook template, which add's even more functionality and is based on the Wikipedia template (well, i say based...its a complete ripoff...looks great though!).

The organisation I work in would not normally use an ICT solution to improve communication and idea sharing. This is why the solution needs to be as simple as possible in operation.

Just to reiterate again the main requirements are;

Ability to upload draft documents or ideas in multiple formats.
Allow subscribed users to comment on the document or idea
It must be private and relatively secure
A general forum type area would be useful

Not having a definitive user spec means this is likely to be added to if te initial use proves valuable.

What do you think ?
