Koenigsegg CCXR... not going anywhere fast..

Whilst amusing I bet the owners didn't even have to think about getting the clamps removed they probably have someone to do all the 'common' work for them

How carefully do you think those clamps were put on? :D

Not very. Even if its not touching the alloy. They would have needed to wrap the chains around the suspension. I'm not sure about the Lambo but the Koenigsegg has powder coated wishbones which will now be badly scratched from the chains being dragged across them.

They better hope the owner isn't a Garage Jewellery Owning ******* (GJOB) that likes the underneath of his cars to be just as clean and perfect as the top. Otherwise they may regret ever touching somebody elses property that they didn't understand enough to not damage.

I bet the owners consider £70 quite a reasonable charge to park right ooutside Harrods. Also, they know they aren't going to get nicked with clamps on either!

About time. I'm pretty sure the owners think they can get away with anything because they have ££.

Well to be honest, it's a small price to pay....to park outside THEIR SHOP! Yes, the owners of the cars are indeed the new owners of Harrods:D

If some utter monkey scratched my Koenigsegg powder coated wishbones and god knows what else under there, not to mention the hideously expensive and beautiful alloy wheels, they would have their clamp inserted deep into one of their bodily orifices.

Infact anyone in a 30m radius would be in danger of substantial injury.

I just wouldnt accept that at all. Under any circumstances.

Clamping monkeys are disgusting. I am filled with boiling rage seeing that poor car brutally clamped in such a way.

They really dont give a **** about anyones property do they?

Well they shouldn't park on double yellows / reds and it won't happen. Simple.

As owners of a well known brand with such obvious cars, they should be setting an example rather than rubbing people up the wrong way.

The law is the law and the markings on the road must be obeyed or they will face the concequences. There's no doubt London is a nightmare place to park and congestion is a big issue, why should they be given prefferential treatment just becasue they have rather unique and expensive cars they are clearly proud to just show off for the sake of a parking fine?

Oh come on...

So he deserves to have his supercar suspension scratched (criminal damage btw) by some goon because of a minor parking violation?

Utter insanity. If the clampers were not such ****'s and went in and asked someone politely to move or they would be clamped, the person might have even given them a cash tip to get them to leave the car alone.

I would be taking the clampers to court for damage to the wheels and suspension, which I would imagine would need to be removed to be re-powder coated, and perhaps a Koenigsegg mechanic would have to be flown accross from Sweden to complete the work.

Hopefully it will actually COST these clampers money instead. Fools.

The whole parking thing is just a money making scam. People should just be allowed to park wherever the **** they want. Sure, if they are causing an obstruction give them a ticket... but to have to PAY to PARK on a ROAD you have paid tax for (a few times) already is literally taking the mick.

I wont confess to my methods, but lets just say I have never had to pay a parking ticket in my life, nor will I ever have to....;)
